Director's Message:

through its PGDM programme which can provide a cutting edge to its graduates. The institute takes cognizance of the fact that in the hyperactive business scenario we operate in today, management graduates need to develop a philosophy of continuous learning, self motivation and leadership and keep innovating. A meaningful thought to career and personality traits and introspection on what makes one excellent and how does one bench mark excellence, are the focal points at the Aurous institute. Accordingly, the quality infrastructure, faculty, course design and teaching methodologies are being geared up at the institute. The institute holds a great promise of producing quality graduates in management. My best wishes to all who join the Aurous Institute of Management.

Inspiration, involvement, initiative, enthusiasm, vision, direction, leadership, abilities were words used to describe qualities of management students in the 1980s. Today management practitioners and gurus strongly feel that the quality of MBAs is deteriorating. Why is it so? There are about 350000 seats approved by the AICTE in private management institutes which churn out about 100000 graduates annually. There is tremendous competition amongst management institutions and one sees a clear ‘push strategy to sell placements.
